Grupo Mariposa, represented by its Executive President Carlos Enrique Mata, participated with more than 200 businessmen from 18 countries in the XXXV Plenary Assembly of the Business Council of Latin America (@CEAL), an event that marks 35 years of commitment to integration and development economic of the region. The assembly took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from October 9 to 10.
This milestone celebrates three and a half decades of efforts to unite entrepreneurs from Latin America, Puerto Rico, Miami and the Iberian Peninsula under the vision of an «America without Borders.» During the assembly, crucial topics were discussed, such as the need for Latin America to increase its 6.7% share in the global economy, and the importance of economic integration, entrepreneurship and technological innovation. Carlos Enrique Mata, who is President of the CEAL Guatemala Chapter, had also the opportunity to exhibit on this topics and Grupo Mariposas´ investment in the region during this assembly.
CEAL continues to be an important pillar for the economic and social development of Latin America, providing a space for the exchange of ideas and strategies between business leaders.
